The wanton cruelty and ruthlessness of the Russian occupiers is growing day by day.
Since the beginning of the Russian attack on Ukraine, 85 children have died, almost 100 have been injured, and more than 280 educational institutions have been destroyed.
In Svyatogorsk in the Donetsk region, the Russian military bombed a children’s regional health center and two premises of the Svyatogorsk Lavra (Orthodox monastery consisting of a cluster of cells or caves for hermits), which housed about a thousand people, including more than 200 children. There are several people wounded.
In the Kyiv region, the occupying forces fired on a column of women and children moving along the “green corridor” – killing seven people, including a child. The exact number of injured is currently unknown.
After the shooting, the occupiers forced the remnants of the column to return to the village of Peremoha and did not let them out of the village. Currently, it is almost impossible to establish contact with them, as well as provide humanitarian and medical assistance.
Out of the 14 corridors, 9 were activated on Saturday, and about 13,000 Ukrainians were evacuated.
We continue to call on the world to close the sky over Ukraine.
